Trail Guide

If you love horses & people this is the job for you!  Being a Trail Guide is a fun & rewarding position where you'll be able to ride and interact with our guests. Trail Guides are responsible for ensuring our guests have a safe & fun ride. Many of our customers come back year after year and enjoy the personalized, friendly service we offer them. You'll make general conversation with facts about our ranch, the horses and local attractions, find out where our guests traveled from or if they're local. 

General Duties include but not limited to:

  • Saddling/ un saddling horses

  • Guiding Trail Rides

  • Bran & Grounds clean up

  • Feeding

  • Grooming

  • Daily Clean up

  • Providing Warm & Friendly Guest Service

  • Ensuring safety of our guests & fun enjoyable experience

95% of our guests tip their guides, tips are based on the level of service and interaction our guides provide.​

  • Approximate work hours are 8am-6pm. This may vary during busy times

**Trail Guides Must Beat least 18 Years Old Per Insurance Requirements**​

If you're under 18 we invite you to apply for our Barn Help position, it's a great way to get into working with horses and be ready to be a guide when you're old enough.

Barn Help / Pony Ride Leader

Barn Help / Pony Ride leaders will work closely with our guides and supervisors to ensure our barn area is clean and presentable to the public. Giving pony rides in our corral is also part of the position. This is also a tipped position and can expect to receive tips from pony rides as well as a daily tip out from our guides. This a great position to learn more about working with horses or expand your knowledge further in a fun and rewarding environment.

Duties include but not limited to:

  • Grooming, feeding, watering horses & ponies

  • Loading guests on horses & assisting with dismounting

  • General Barn & Grounds clean up

  • Pony Rides

  • Assist Guides, Supervisors & Managers with tasks

Approximate work hours are 9am-3 or 4 pm  Hours may vary during busy times​
